Sample Project: Mauer Eye Center

Mauer Eye Center has been a longtime client of ours. In mid 2008, construction began on their new 25,000 square foot facility. Technicom was tasked with pulling category 5 cable for voice and data to feed over 100 jacks in the facility. We were also challenged with recommending a phone system for this facility to serve Mauer Eye Center, Parallax Solutions and d'vine Medical Spa® with a single telephone system.

After much analysis and discussion with Mauer Eye Center, the NEC UX5000 system was recommended along with 105 phones located throughout the building. Phones range from simple 6 button phones for exam rooms to more robust 24 button phones for the staff answering calls. The UX5000 offers voicemail services and on-hold music using a USB attached device.

The phone system is managed both onsite by Mauer Eye Center staff and remotely by Technicom over a virtual private network connection. In either case, help is a phonecall away!
